Content Guidelines

CommissionBag does not permit publishers with the following types of content

  • Pornographic content
  • Violent or hateful content
  • Content of a religious or political nature
  • Content that promotes illegal activity
  • Content targeting children aged 13 and below
  • Duplicated content from other sources

Violation of Program Policies

It is considered a breach of our policies to:

  • Use search engine marketing to bid on merchant brand terms for affiliate revenues.
  • Modify the http referrer through redirection or other methods.
  • Generate impressions, clicks, or transactions through incentivized means.
  • Use domain names containing merchant or entity names, brands, or trademarks.
  • Operate multiple accounts without express written consent from CommissionBag.
  • Engage in 'direct linking'.
  • Fail to comply with applicable FTC and ASA guidelines regarding affiliate marketing practices.
  • Create the impression that your website is associated with a merchant or entity.
  • Purchase advertisements that compete with merchant ads or Product Listing Ads.
  • Utilize CommissionBag affiliate tracking tags outside of CommissionBag technologies.
  • Be an entity registered in a country subject to economic sanctions and export control laws of relevant jurisdictions.

CommissionBag reserves the right to deny any publisher suspected of engaging in prohibited activities from its network. In the event of suspicion or evidence of prohibited activities by a publisher already accepted into the CommissionBag network, CommissionBag reserves the right to suspend or terminate their account without compensation, at its sole discretion.

Traffic Geography

CommissionBag currently monetizes traffic from North America, Europe, and APAC regions exclusively. If your site lacks significant traffic from these regions, we may be unable to monetize your content and may deny your application to prevent disappointment with our service.
